The legend goes that in the 8th century, Guru Padmasambhava is said to have meditated for three years, three months, three weeks, three days and three hours, In the Taktsang Senge Samdup cave, in Bhutan. This was later the sight on which this beautiful temple was built in 1692, now Known as the Tigers Nest temple.
The site continues to attract visitors from around the world whom enjoy the mysticism that shrouds it since its inception, and the beauty of the rugged mountainous terrain
